Scoobiedoo

Bonjourrrrr,

Scoobiedoo – don´t we all remember those colorful, plastic strings? I kind of forgot about them a couple of years ago but when we started packing for our vacation, my mom decided to buy a pack just in case we got bored. Thanks to her I´ve made 9 bracelets –blush- ! There are many ways to tie the strings but I still love the round one the most. I guess that one is the easiest to make, too! The scoobiedoo strings are really cheap (probably because nobody wants them anymore, except this obsessed girl named Rachelle…and wait there is also my friend Margriet who started again!). I made a picture collage to show you in steps how to make a bracelet.

  1. Get four strings
  2. Tie a knot on one end
  3. Let the string hang over the knot, so that you can see them all. Get one string, place it over the next one.
  4. Place the next string over the third string
  5. Place the third string over the fourth
  6. Get the fourth string and pull it through the first string
  7. ….so it will look like this
  8. Hold two strings in both hands, pull really hard, so they form a square
  9. Repeat the whole process again but don´t forget to ALWAYS start by the string on the top right (in this case the read one). If you don´t do that, you will end up with a square bracelet…

Many thanks to Margriet for this blog idea!

    XOXOXO, Rachelle
